In 1979 they moved to Australia and were on staff with YWAM Australia. They served in Goulburn for two years and Brisbane for two years. There they were involved in training, teaching, discipleship, youth ministry and evangelism locally, nationally and internationally.
In 1983 they moved to Lae, Papua New Guinea where they pioneered YWAM PNG. They were involved again in training, teaching discipleship, youth ministry and evangelism. Under their leadership, three YWAM bases were established and numerous local, national and international outreach events were held.
In 1997 David and Kathleen moved to Montrose, Colorado where they founded Solid Rock Foundation Ministries, a youth and family ministry. They continue to be involved internationally as well and nationally and locally. Teaching, training, discipleship and evangelism are still top priority.
David and Kathleen have four married children, with 19 grandchildren. All their children, Lisa, Jordan, Megan and John were raised in missions and now reside in the United States.

Tamara Lewko
Staff
In the early 1980’s Tamara worked with her local church in the children and youth departments: Biblical training, bible crafts, field-trips and summer Vocational Bible Study.
In 1988 she joined YWAM Cimarron, CO for their Discipleship Training Program afterwards joining the staff to serve in different areas of their schools and summer programs. It’s was there she met my future husband Kevin Lewko who was from Minnesota. They married in 1989 and in 1994 moved to YWAM Spearfish, SD. In 1996 they moved back to Montrose, CO where they were drawn to SRFM for their work with families and missions with Ao1. As a family they traveled to many different states and nations, discipling young people and learning to work in unity under the banner of Christ. In 2005 Kevin passed on to his heavenly home. God has been faithful to His word and in His provision to the Tamara and her three boys.
Tamara has co-lead GriefShare, your journey from mourning to joy, a 13 week video series for those who have lost a loved one. Also working with the National Day Of Prayer Task Force to engage, encourage and empower the body of Christ. While also enjoying visiting with the elderly and helping them out with simple life tasks or taking meals to them. (She might have the best cookies on the Western Slope.)
Tamara treasure my time with my sons and other family members, encouraging them with the love of Christ that He has shown her over the years. Nathaniel and Daniel live in Montrose and Ethan and his wife Rachel live in Armstrong, British Columbia.

Mary Lou Luttrell
Staff
My name is Mary Lou Mills Luttrell. I was born in 1939, and I moved to the Montrose, Colorado area when I was four and a half years old. After getting married, I worked for the Montrose School District for eleven years, then I sold pianos, organs, and keyboards for several years, and was a Health and Life Insurance agent for eleven years.
In 1985 and 1986 I did a “Crossroads” school with Youth With A Mission, and then a “Worship, Intercession, and Spiritual Warfare” school with YWAM in 1999. At the completion of that school, I went with SRFM on their first outreach in 1999 to Australia and Papua New Guinea. In 2000 I joined the staff of SRFM.
I am the prayer intercessor for both the local and international Ao1 teams. I am a member of the Intercessors Team in Montrose County. I am the City Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer Task Force. I minister to the senior citizens with music in Montrose a couple of times a month. I am a Grandma eight times and a Great-Grandma eight times, which I thoroughly enjoy.

Rick and Kathy Weaver
Secretary/ StaffOur family first became involved with SRFM in the summer of 1998 when our teenage daughters and some of their friends joined David and Kathleen Tabor for a week of prayer and fasting at the World Prayer Center “Prayer Storm”. When they returned, we and other parents were invited to join the young people for a weekly early morning prayer time for youth and the nation. It was awesome to see how God worked as the generations came together in agreement with Him. That fall, Michelle Stucky joined SRFM staff, and we were blessed to have her live in our home for the next two years.
From the summer of 1999, our family has participated in the annual King’s Kids and AO1 International Team outreaches, which have had a profound impact on each of us in our personal faith, character, and relationship with the Lord, as well as the privilege of seeing God work through us to impact nations. In 2001 our daughter, Julie, joined SRFM staff and moved into their staff house (Hebron House) for a year.
In 2003, after our youngest daughter graduated from our home school, I (Kathy) joined SRFM staff and looked forward to more involvement with this organization that shared our same core values of seeking and honoring God first in all things and ministry to youth and families. I serve as the secretary for the board of SRFM. My husband, Rick, now semi-retired as a civil engineer, joined SRFM in 2013, and we both enjoy serving with the ministry together. Rick also serves as president of CALO (Colorado AirLift Outreach, a ministry that coordinates and flies medical teams to Mexico) and enjoys flying mercy flights for Samaritan Aviation.

John and Gayle Strantz
Board DirectorsJohn and Gayle Strantz have served on the Board of SRFM since its inception. We have linked arms with David & Kathleen Tabor for over 53 years and are blessed to serve as Board Members.
Our hearts have been in missions for many years. We have served full time in Youth With A Mission for 30 years, and continue to serve part-time at the University of the Nations and YWAM SHIPS. We have had the privilege of serving in many different nations and seeing God’s heart for the lost and His great love for His Bride. We have also served in the capacity of Associate Pastors and Marriage Counselors. We have been blessed to be able to speak into the lives of singles, couples, and families. We long to see people restored to the Father and walk in the fulness of life that is offered in Him.
Our grandchildren have been blessed by taking part in Ao1 and have grown in the knowledge of the Lord. It is an honor to share in their lives in this way. We have gone on outreach with them and have seen God move mightily as we serve the Lord together with 3 generations. There is a special dynamic that takes place in that setting that is powerful. God seems to be highlighting the joining of generations to accomplish His purposes in the earth.
Our 53rd Wedding Anniversary will be June 21, 2018. We are grateful for the gift of one another and His guidance and protection of our marriage. We have 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, and 11 grandchildren. WOW! God is faithful.

Galen and Jan Daily first became involved with Solid Rock Ministries when their 16-year-old daughter, Jenny, joined Ao1 in 1991. They instantly bonded with David and Kathleen and have grown closer over the years. Galen was the administrator and Jan a teacher at Colorado West Christian School at that time. They have subsequently ministered in Uganda, Morocco, Thailand, Burma, Kenya, and Israel. They have a deep love and respect for missions as well as the wonderful work at SRFM.
They pastored at Extended Arms Fourssquare Church in Clifton and retired in 2008. Charity Freeland
TreasurerCharity Freeland has worked with SRFM since October of 2002. After meeting David and Kathleen through their post-high school Bible study in 2000, I knew that I someday wanted to work closer with their organization. In 2001 I went with Audience of One on a life changing outreach trip to London. Since then I have traveled to Australia, Italy, New Zealand, and Hong Kong with Ao1. I led Grand Junction Ao1 for two years and have helped with Montrose Ao1. I also help with the administrative duties in SRFM and oversee the bookkeeping.
I have greatly appreciated the relationships that I have developed in SRFM. I have been challenged to go further and deeper, in my relationship with God, than I ever thought possible. I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances and I have learned so much. I’ve learned leadership skills. I have also learned who I am, I’ve learned to walk in confidence in who God created me to be.
Interns
Interns typically reside with the Directors, David and Kathleen Tabor, where they are discipled and trained for leadership. They usually make a year committment and assist with the various ministries of SRFM. They generally need to raise enough support to cover their monthly expenses.
Volunteers
Volunteers are committed to specific ministries. Their committment level is usually on a seasonal basis and varies according to their schedule.
