So another productive day was in store for us today. Geoff headed into Lome to update 5 days worth of posts, which drew instant attention from parents and friends on the SRFM Facebook page. While Geoff was in Lome, the team did an afternoon performance for some secondary students, which went very well. Sierra, Hope, Quinn and Tayne shared testimonies during the songs and they ended their time teaching the line dance, which has become a huge hit with the African’s.
As Geoff was making his way back to the base from Lome the vehicle he was in was rear-ended by a motorbike. The motorbike rider was shaken up to say the least and fortunately no one was seriously hurt. After dinner the team played musical chairs with some of the young people for the base. The base staff and students have been very impressed with our kids and have been truly blessed by the life they have brought to the base.
